Indiana Swimming Announces New Site Selection Process
At the April meeting of the Indiana Swimming Board of Directors, the Board approved new policies and procedures for the selection of championship events in Indiana. The changes will be in full effect for the September 1 bidding cycle.

At the April 26th meeting, the USA Swimming Board of Directors approved the selection of the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis as the site of the 2009 USA Swimming National Championships and World Championship Trials.  From July 7 - 11, 2009, our country's most elite swimmers will be competing at "the Nat" for the coveted title of National Champion and the opportunity to compete for the United States on the World Championship team.  Hotel block information and online reservations will be available at www.allgreatracers.com by May 31, 2008.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 2008 MEGAZONE
This summer from August 6 - 10, Indiana Swimming and the IU Natatorium, with support from the IHSAA, Indy Starz Diving, Indy SwimFit, Indy Synchro, and the Indiana Sports Corporation, will co-host the 2008 Central MegaZone Swimming Championships.  100% of the revenue from this collaborative effort will be donated directly to the IU Natatorium renovation and restoration fund to insure that future generations of athletes will have the opportunity to compete in this historical venue.   Volunteer recruitment is now underway.  Please consider becoming part of the volunteer team for this meet by downloading, completing, and returning the volunteer application available at www.allgreatracers.com   Applications are due no later than June 30.  Thank you!
